Electrical

Electrical equipment requires non-conductive, low-residue cleaning methods. Safety and equipment reliability are the primary concerns.

  • Dry ice blasting: Widely used to clean switchgear, motors, generators, and control panels. It is non-conductive and leaves no secondary waste, helping improve insulation performance.

  • Dry vapor steam cleaning: In controlled conditions and with proper lockout/tagout, steam is used to clean certain enclosures, housings, and cable trays, followed by thorough drying.

  • Ultrasonic cleaning: Applied to removable electrical components such as contacts and connectors using electronics-safe fluids and controlled drying cycles.

  • Vacuum and high-level dry cleaning: Used to remove dust and loose contamination in electrical rooms, MCCs, and data centers without abrasive impact.

  • Chemical cleaning (electronics-safe): Specialized solvents and contact cleaners are used on terminals and bus bars to remove oils and oxidation without leaving conductive residues.
